Kiln cast lead crystal ovals sculptures. These small sculptures are a canvas to study color. -
Electroformed (8)
I studied under Michael Glancy to learn the technique of Electroforming. You can see his strong artistic influence in my earlier works. This process involves electro-chemically depositing copper onto glass. It uses a direct current to activate ions of pure copper which move from solution to the positively charged silver coating on the glass. My Book "Metal and Glass: The Art and Technique of Electroforming", is a teaching manual and is available for purchase.
